What’s your favorite spot in LA? Food, store…whatever…
-Rachel: At the risk of sounding cliché, Urth Café is definitely one of my favorite places to eat. The pesto chicken salad is to die for!
What’s your favorite spot in NY?
-Rachel: I love the Brooklyn Flea Market! And Molly’s Cupcakes in the West Village. SO good.
Who are your style icons?
-Rachel: Ruby Aldridge, Elizabeth Olsen, Taylor Tomasi Hill, Erin Wasson
What blogs do you check out daily?
-Rachel: Some of my favorite blogs are Gary Pepper Vintage, for the beautiful outfits and photography, as well as Sketch 42, for the decorating, food, and art posts. I also look at They All Hate Us, as well as Oracle Fox, for a great lineup of editorials, trends, and street style snaps.
What is your favorite nativeLA item?
-Rachel: The Frankie Fringe Cardigan! I would wear it now in the cold NYC winter, as well as wrapping up in it to keep warm on a summer California night at the beach.
What’s in your purse right now!?
-Rachel: Way too much! Every lip balm imaginable (favorites being Korres and Blistex), my phone, a disposable camera- I love them, vitamins, Hello Kitty BandAids, container of organic Stevia for sweetening my coffee, and my extra large Ray Ban wayfarers.
What inspired you to start your blog?
-Rachel: Lizzie and I constantly consult each other on fashion advice and clothing we are coveting. We love that our styles are so different yet complement each other at the same time, so we decided to collaborate and bring our styles together from each side of the country in this blog. We can’t wait to share more of our aesthetic through themed photo shoots and whatever style/ art/ design related posts we come up with!
What’s your hidden talent?
-Rachel: I like drawing and painting, and nail art! Also, I never fall off of a mechanical bull.

-Lizzie: Definitely the Getty Villa

-Lizzie: Cannelle Patisserie in Queens - their croissants….

-Lizzie: My wallet, Kiehl’s creme de corps, 6 tubes of carmex, my ipod, band aids, and Prada Cats Eye Sunglasses
What inspired you to start your blog?
-Lizzie: Well Rachel and I used to send each other pictures of our favorite blogs, looks and pieces of clothing we were obsessing over. Finally we came to the conclusion that we, too, could put together our favorite looks, write about trends, and make fun themed shoots. And since she lives in New York City, and I live in Los Angeles, our aesthetics are pretty different and they tend to reflect our environments. To us, it seemed like a concept people could respond too. There’s definitely a contrast between both of us and we love it.
What’s your secret talent?
-Lizzie: I can howl like a coyote!
